So, whats up?

No updates lately due to lots and lots of work. As usual I've been doing some animating, some shooting and some directing, but at a much higher pace and in greater volume than I'm used to. Which is awesome of course, but I might need some time of soon.

Here is a cool commercial by the Omanovic bros for a really cool pen by Gustav Innovation.

I did all the post production including the spinning texts. A fun little project for a fun product! (Yes, we did have a spin-off at the office to see who could get it to spin the longest)

Representin'

That's right, I'm now represented by TS Produktion as director. This is a very exciting turn of events that will probably mean a whole bunch of things. For starters, more awesome stuff will definitely get made. Second, it'll be easier to do all this cool stuff. And third, all this new cool stuff that will be easier to make will get a way larger audience than it would have otherwise. So you could say this is kind of a win-win...win situation for me. Thanks to Mr. Producer, Thomas Aziz for the faith!

Karpis video released

The awesome Karpis video is now officially released, check it out! A word of warning though: Don't watch if you are easily provoked by sexiness.

Amelia finished

Last week I finished an animated commercial for Amelia (the magazine), and its running on swedish TV4 and some other channels right now! Thanks to Mr. Aziz @ TS Produktion for good producing!

New commercial in the making

Recently I've been making an animated commercial for a big Swedish lifestyle magazine (announced soon!). Although very simple in its form, it's been somewhat tedious making it look organic in 2D. But I think I'm pulling it of though, the magazines are starting to look like magazines.

Anyway, I'm directing it through TS produktion, a very cool company I will be collaborating with a lot in the future. Exciting times. Most recently we did the Orion intro, a title sequence for their first feature film, Orion.

Monday

After a hard weekend of editing my latest video, I'm having somewhat of a lazy monday (as can sometimes happen in life). Lucky for me this freelance thing allows me to do whatever I want, a.k.a nothing, on a day like this.

Lately I've been testing (playing around) with a bunch of really cool cameras. The other day I got a quick tour of the Red Epic from Olle @ Kosmopol, and I also did some tests (more playing) with the Scarlet. Tomorrow we'll see how well the Scarlet holds up in production, but I'm guessing very well.
At the end of this month I have a huge thing coming up that will be shoot on the Arri Alexa, so I will be testing (playing with) that one as well.

Come to think of it, THAT has to be the best thing about being a freelancer, all that playing =D

Orion intro finished!

Haris Arts proudly presents the animated title sequence for the feature film "Orion".

Design & animation by yours truly. This project actually started a while ago but the movie itself has been through some ups and downs causing delays. As it is now getting closer and closer to release, I thought it was time to share this piece with you. Enjoy!

The project was to make a five second animation with the theme of PINBALL. I decided to make a revenge story out of it.
